Established in 1975, the business has grown organically from the hiring of two-way radios to the design and installation of custom enterprise radio solutions and system integration. While the business focus has changed over the years, it remains under the same ownership today as the day it started. Radio Systems Limited (RSL) has a pedigree of design, manufacturing, supply, installation and maintenance of bespoke turnkey mobile radio schemes for the UK and overseas organisations.

In 1997 RSL expanded its operations with the formation of Radio Services Inc, a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of RSL, providing on-site maintenance for the United States Air Forces in Europe and other US Government departments.

Key Radio Systems operations and services were assimilated into RSL with a number of critical personnel strengthening the RSL’s design and manufacturing capability in 2009. The majority of Key Radio customers transferred to Radio Systems as have all former suppliers.
